This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Assist in the execution and continuous management of the producer compliance program.
• Perform compliance evaluations and aid in audits to determine adherence to regulatory and program standards.
• Oversee producer documentation and reporting to spot discrepancies or potential compliance issues.
• Help in the preparation of compliance reports, findings, and documentation for internal assessment.
• Facilitate communication with producers concerning compliance questions, document requests, and corrective actions.
• Monitor regulatory updates and aid in revising compliance procedures and internal documentation as needed.
• Assist in the upkeep of compliance policies, procedures, and tracking systems.
• Promote cross-departmental collaboration to collect information necessary for compliance evaluations.
• Keep precise records of compliance activities, audits, and follow-up measures.
• Aid in the creation of materials for regulatory reviews or inquiries.
• Contribute to ongoing improvement efforts within the Producer Compliance department.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Environmental Studies, Business, Compliance, or a related area.
• Professional certification in compliance (e.g., CCEP) is considered advantageous.
• Over 3 years of experience in compliance, regulatory support, audit, or similar fields.
• Experience in regulated environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance principles and risk management strategies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Keen attention to detail and robust organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and familiar with audit or tracking tools.
• All CM employees work 40 hours per week, remotely from a home office environment.
