This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.
• Assist Account Managers in overseeing international customer accounts throughout the entire order lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Credit, Finance, Operations, Warehousing, vendors, and logistics partners to address international order requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
• Inform customers about product availability, lead times, order requirements, customs documentation needs, and related purchasing information.
• Draft international quotes and proforma invoices, encompassing pricing, freight, logistics costs, and applicable charges.
• Monitor the progression of orders from quoting to fulfillment, identifying any delays, discrepancies, and risks.
• Assist in planning international shipments in collaboration with customers, freight forwarders, carriers, warehouses, and logistics partners.
• Coordinate freight quotes and shipment planning based on destination, shipment size, product readiness, and customer requirements.
• Aid in the preparation and review of commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and other export documentation.
• Track the readiness and status of shipments, providing timely updates on milestones.
• Investigate and facilitate the resolution of order discrepancies, product issues, shortages, damages, documentation problems, and shipping delays.
• Manage customer communication and follow-through, escalating complex issues when necessary.
• Validate product specifications for international markets, including voltage, frequency, plug configurations, certifications, and other market-specific factors.
• Identify product alternatives with vendors and internal teams when standard products fail to meet international requirements or availability needs.
• Maintain precise tracking and reporting of international orders, projects, milestones, shipment plans, risks, and deliverables.
• Recognize recurring issues, process gaps, and opportunities to enhance efficiency and the overall international customer experience.
• Knowledge of foodservice equipment, industry standards, and best practices.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills across diverse countries, cultures, and time zones.
• Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
• Capacity to manage multiple international orders, priorities, and cross-functional deliverables simultaneously.
• Keen attention to detail when reviewing product specifications, pricing, payment requirements, shipping information, and export documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Aptitude for identifying potential issues, anticipating risks, and proactively coordinating solutions.
• Ability to collaborate across functions and uphold accountability among internal teams and external partners.
