This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Design, construct, and enhance ETL/ELT data pipelines utilizing Azure and GCP services.
• Create and sustain optimized data models within multi-cloud data warehouse environments.
• Oversee and improve the performance of data warehouse queries.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists to develop feature stores and pipelines for machine learning models.
• Establish workflows to automate the complete data lifecycle for AI/ML initiatives.
• Partner with Data Science teams to deploy and oversee machine learning models in production settings.
• Craft complex SQL queries and write Python scripts for data manipulation.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Over 4 years of relevant experience in a Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or Data Architecture position.
• Proficiency in key Azure services (Blob Storage, Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse) and/or GCP services (Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Dataflow).
• Advanced skills in SQL and contemporary ELT methodologies.
• Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI or Looker.
• High-level expertise in Python programming.
• Understanding of ML lifecycle tools.
• Knowledge in implementing security measures.
• Awareness of infrastructure as code (IaC) practices using Terraform or native cloud tools.
