Special Process Auditor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Formulate strategies for effective planning and execution of Nadcap audits, focusing on site compliance.

• Assist in sustaining the Nadcap certification process across all locations.

• Guarantee adherence to all industry standards and customer requirements at the sites.

• Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) leadership for the Special Process Network audit process to ensure adherence to schedules, auditor qualifications, process enhancements, and corrective actions.

• Engage in customer quality improvement plans (QIP) associated with special processes as needed.

• Work in collaboration with site resources, product engineering, and Product Action Committees (PAC) to promote product and manufacturing improvements that lead to reduced escapes and enhanced product reliability concerning special processes.

• Conduct risk analyses and implement mitigation strategies, including ongoing improvement initiatives.

• Utilize project management tools to influence cross-functional teams and activities.

• Act as a mentor for Special Process, QMS processes, and procedural guidance for the sites.

⛳️ Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.

• A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a technical field is essential.

• Over 10 years of experience in a quality-related role within an aerospace production setting.

• In-depth knowledge of the AS9100 series of industry standards.

• Familiarity with NADCAP Special Processes.

• Direct experience with all components of Honeywell’s Quality Management Systems and certifications.

• At least 5 years of experience as a Lead Auditor is required.
