This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Executes timely operational, financial, and compliance audits, both internally and externally.

• Identifies, documents, and assesses business risks.

• Creates comprehensive written audit programs.

• Performs testing and analysis of existing controls.

• Prepares documented work papers to record testing outcomes.

• Records issues, their underlying causes, and their impact on the organization.

• Acts as Lead Auditor on more intricate audit assignments.

• Formulates recommendations to mitigate risks and enhance processes.

• Composes audit reports for corporate executive management.

• Gathers and analyzes data to identify inadequate controls, fraud, or non-compliance.

• Develops thorough reports for each audit performed.

• Reviews and assesses financial and information systems, suggesting controls.

• Conducts specialized audit studies for management purposes.

• Provides training and support to fellow auditors.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

• A minimum of 5 years of auditing experience.

• Understanding of auditing principles and practices.

• Ability to analyze and assess the relevance of financial data.

• Capability to gather information through the examination of records and documents.

• Strong interpersonal abilities.

• Proficient in clear and effective communication, both orally and in writing.

• Ability to manage sensitive issues with confidentiality.

• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Preferred certifications include Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
