This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Deliver technical expertise, guidance, and direct clinical services to special operations forces (SOF).
• Design, plan, and implement resiliency programs aimed at preventing and treating behavioral health challenges.
• Support all facets of service member readiness and resilience.
• Conduct psychological assessments through clinical interviews, psychological testing, and relevant collateral sources.
• Operate in accordance with state licensing board regulations, the American Psychological Association Ethical Principles and Code of Conduct, and MTF privileges.
• Establish psychiatric diagnoses following the American Psychiatric Association's Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Disorders.
• Provide psychological treatment to individuals and groups.
• Assist medical and surgical patients in managing their illnesses or injuries.
• Aid in the rehabilitation process of patients.
• Adhere to company safety, health, environmental, and quality assurance standards.
• Execute other assignments and responsibilities as necessary.
• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
• Possession of Secret Clearance or Top Secret Clearance, or the ability to obtain one.
• PhD or PsyD in clinical or counseling psychology from an American Psychological Association accredited institution.
• Successful completion of an APA-accredited Internship/Residency in psychology.
• At least two (2) years of peer-reviewable clinical experience in a mental health environment.
• Capability to fulfill clinical competency criteria as specified in Service-specific credentialing instructions.
• A current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice psychology in any U.S. State, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
• Ability to obtain practice privileges from the military medical treatment facility.
• Compliance with Safety, Health, and Environmental plans, policies, and procedures.
• Adherence to the Quality Assurance plan, policies, and procedures.
• Regular and acceptable attendance is required.
• Completion of all necessary training is essential.
• Experience in a government setting, such as the Department of Defense (DoD) or Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) MTF, is preferred.
