Spanish-Speaking General Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Ensure accurate documentation of all financial transactions while adhering to UAE accounting and regulatory guidelines.

• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, interpreting financial data to align with company objectives and performance indicators.

• Perform reconciliation of bank statements and client accounts, maintaining precise records of all mortgage-related financial activities.

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, handling invoices, payments, and reconciliations efficiently.

• Assist with tax and regulatory submissions, ensuring adherence to UAE financial legislation and international financial reporting standards.

• Regularly engage with Spanish-speaking clients and stakeholders, offering accounting assistance and ensuring understanding of all financial issues.

• Aid in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to facilitate strategic decision-making processes.

• Collaborate closely with finance and compliance teams to uphold the accuracy of financial data and reporting mechanisms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA or equivalent certification is desirable.

• At least 5 years of accounting experience, ideally within the mortgage or financial services sector.

• Proficient in both Spanish and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Expertise in accounting software (e.g., Xero) and advanced proficiency in MS Excel.

• Knowledge of UAE financial regulations and IFRS standards is essential.
