Spanish Remote Simultaneous Interpretation, RSI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Peru.

📋 Description

• Conduct remote interpretation sessions with professionalism, adhering to the Interpreter's code of conduct.

• Be prepared to take notes during interpretation sessions.

• Acquaint yourself with industry-specific terminology, especially in the healthcare and medical domains.

• Ensure interpretations are accurate and complete, without adding, omitting, or substituting any content.

• Deliver outstanding customer service throughout interpretation sessions.

• Facilitate effective communication between clients and individuals with Limited English Proficiency.

• Engage in internal professional development training and pursue additional certifications.

• Maintain open communication and provide updates to your team leader.

• Comply with dress code standards for remote interpretation sessions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in English and native-level fluency in Spanish.

• At least 1 year of remote interpretation experience with a reputable organization.

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology; familiarity with legal terminology is beneficial.

• International certifications in the healthcare sector (e.g., PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA) are a plus.

• High school diploma in your native language.

• Demonstrate high emotional intelligence and cultural sensitivity.

• Exceptional skills in communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention.
