This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver precise consecutive interpretation services via phone and video between English and Spanish in medical, social services, customer service, and financial environments.
• Enable effective communication between healthcare providers and patients to ensure clear understanding and quality care.
• Proficiency in interpreting calls related to medical, customer service, social services, and financial domains.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
• Experience in remote interpretation for both languages is essential.
• Strong communication and listening abilities.
• Appropriate certification in medical interpretation or a related discipline.
• Adherence to HIPAA regulations.
• A wired Ethernet connection (must connect directly to the router via cable); Wi-Fi is not permitted.
• Use of a noise-canceling microphone and USB headset. Only these brands are accepted: Logitech H390, Jabra GN, Plantronics Blackwire C3220 (Poly), and Microsoft Lifechat LX-6000.
• Browser: The latest versions of Chrome, Safari, Edge, or Firefox are required.
• Processor: Minimum i5 or higher, 6th generation or newer.
• Camera: Minimum resolution of 1080p is required.
• Full-time availability for 5 days a week (with 2 days off).
• Compensation for each available hour (you are paid whether you are on a call or not).
