Spanish-English Audio Collection, Transcription Project

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Puerto Rico.

📋 Description

• Capture authentic bilingual conversations by adhering to client-specified scripts.

• Accurately transcribe your recorded audio.

• Divide audio into natural speech segments.

• Recognize and label speakers when multiple voices are involved.

• Correctly utilize transcription guidelines, punctuation, and annotation tags.

• Adhere to project specifications to ensure high-quality results.

• Maintain active communication with the Project Manager for any clarifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native speaker of one of the specified regional varieties of Spanish.

• Proficient in both Spanish and English.

• A minimum English proficiency level of B2 to effectively communicate throughout the project and comprehend project guidelines.

• Comfortable with natural Spanish-English code-switching in conversation.

• Strong skills in listening, reading, and writing in both Spanish and English.

• Detail-oriented and patient, capable of maintaining at least 95% accuracy.

• Willing to seek clarification when uncertain.

• A quiet environment suitable for audio recording is required.

• A laptop or desktop with a reliable internet connection is necessary.

• Ability to manage your time effectively and meet deadlines.

• Bonus: Previous experience in transcription, audio annotation, data labeling, or AI-related projects is a plus.
