Spanish-English Audio Collection, Transcription Project

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Guatemala.

📋 Description

• Record authentic bilingual conversations by adhering to scripts provided by the client.

• Accurately transcribe your own recordings.

• Break down audio into natural speech segments.

• Identify and label speakers when multiple voices are involved.

• Correctly apply transcription guidelines, punctuation, and annotation tags.

• Follow project specifications to ensure high-quality results.

• Actively communicate with the Project Manager for any clarifications needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native speaker of one of the specified regional Spanish varieties.

• Fluent in both Spanish and English.

• Possess at least a B2 level of English proficiency to effectively communicate throughout the project and comprehend project guidelines.

• Comfortable with natural Spanish-English code-switching in conversation.

• Strong listening, reading, and writing abilities in both Spanish and English.

• Detail-oriented and patient, capable of maintaining a minimum accuracy of 95%.

• Willingness to ask questions when uncertain.

• A quiet environment that is conducive for recording audio.

• Access to a laptop or desktop with a reliable internet connection.

• Ability to manage your own schedule and meet deadlines efficiently.

• Previous experience in transcription, audio annotation, data labeling, or AI-related projects is preferred.
