Sourcing Director – Orthopedics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead and oversee the management and execution of strategies for a tailored contract and program portfolio that serves Excelerate Health Sourcing, LLC members.

• Play a key role in the Orthopedic/Neuro strategic sourcing processes, which includes opportunity identification, strategy formulation, contract development, supplier collaborations, negotiations, documentation, and clinical packaging for effective implementation.

• Build and sustain relationships with Cleveland Clinic personnel, Excelerate members, and Vizient stakeholders.

• Develop and enhance strategic associations with essential suppliers in the Orthopedic/Surgical service sectors.

• Identify, prioritize, and act on current and future variation and utilization opportunities in partnership with Cleveland Clinic.

• Create and execute business processes aimed at achieving financial objectives.

• Accurately track and report on objectives and goals.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and leaders to fulfill performance goals and business objectives while enhancing best practices.

• Offer leadership and consultation on innovative and intricate cost-saving and clinical variation strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A relevant degree is preferred.

• A minimum of 7 years of experience is required.

• Strong negotiation abilities and a proven track record in complex negotiations are essential.

• Experience in healthcare supply cost management and contracting is preferred.

• Capability to coach and support others through leadership and collaborative partnership skills.

• Proven experience in operational planning.

• Background in developing customized solutions for large, complex organizations in collaboration with suppliers using consultative skills.

• Ability to excel, lead, and influence within a matrix environment.

• Strong relationship-building and strategic partnership skills.

• Willingness to travel is required.
