Solutions Integrations Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the architecture, design, and testing of software program integrations and interoperability.

• Consult with clients to define, design, document, implement, and deliver system integration solutions.

• Architect innovative solutions and provide new services that fulfill customer requirements.

• Collaborate directly with clients to establish data mappings necessary for structuring the integration solution.

• Work alongside analysts, designers, and system owners to test newly integrated software programs.

• Install and configure software at the customer’s site, and conduct user acceptance testing as needed.

• Comprehend data quality and its implications for the final integrated solution.

• Ensure that integration projects align with business requirements and objectives.

• Develop standards, best practices, patterns, and processes to facilitate integration projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Engineering (preferably in Power Systems Engineering or Electrical Engineering).

• Over 10 years of integration experience, with a minimum of 5 years concentrated on integration architecture.

• Highly proficient in various Web Service standards and technologies, including WCF, XML, SOAP, WSDL, XSD, REST, and XSLT (at least 7 years experience).

• Experience in the electric utility sector, with knowledge of utility distribution IT systems such as GIS, AMI, OMS, and MDMS.

• Understanding of electric utility operations.

• Expertise in electric system asset modeling, as well as the mathematical algorithms and methodologies used in utility systems.

• Preferred experience with analytics.

• Ideal candidates will have experience in data modeling with relational databases.

• Familiarity with security standards is required.

• Knowledge of NoSQL databases, Java, C/C++ programming languages, JMS message bus, and Javascript.

• Experience with Active Directory, authentication, virtualization, firewalls, etc.

• Outstanding customer engagement skills.

• Willingness to travel as necessary (up to 50%).
