Solutions Engineer, Spacetime Onboarding

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with clients to gain insight into their specific needs and expected outcomes.

• Collect data including the movement of mobile terminals, satellite ephemerides, antenna radiation patterns, RF channels and bandwidths, C/N+I thresholds, ground segment network architecture, Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols, ground station locations, SLAs, and more.

• Convert customer-supplied information into the relevant fields within Spacetime's open APIs (utilizing gRPC and protocol buffers) by writing code to automate processes in any of Golang, Java, C++, or Python.

• Conduct necessary configuration tasks within Spacetime to set up the customer's instance, if needed.

• Collaborate closely with the engineering and customer success teams to resolve any technical issues or requirements during the onboarding process.

• Offer technical support and advice to customers throughout the evaluation phase, facilitating a seamless transition to using Spacetime.

• Record and relay customer-specific configurations and requirements to internal teams.

• Strong grasp of networking and communication technologies.

• Expertise in gRPC and protocol buffers.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively engage with customers and internal teams.

• Detail-oriented, capable of accurately gathering and interpreting complex technical information.

• Strong analytical skills to tackle technical challenges during the onboarding phase.

• Capacity to manage multiple customer engagements concurrently.

• Knowledge of satellite deployment, wireless communications, antenna types, and networking fundamentals is advantageous.
