Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Provide engineering solutions support for all field personnel including Account Executives, Strategic Account Managers, and Global Solutions Sales Executives.

• Responsible for lifecycle sustaining engineering support, including discovery, solution development, and proposal generation.

• Manage moves, adds, and changes (MACD).

• Deliver sustaining engineering support for large and complex solutions.

• Assist in activities related to account growth and development.

• Gather customer technical requirements and convert them into internal architecture templates.

• Collaborate with the product team on new product requirements, integrations, and resolving defects.

• Work alongside the product team and customers on load/stress and fail-over testing for high-availability deployments.

• Partner with customers to identify issues and solve problems before and after production.

• Promote continuous technical enhancement both internally and with clients.

• Foster and guide technical decisions with customers to design or refine technical solutions.

• Oversee technical implementations for customer deployment projects.

• Participate jointly in client implementation planning and associated activities to ensure smooth integration or activation of Comcast Business Global services for both new and existing clients.

• Provide technical fulfillment and respond to inquiries related to Comcast Business Global technical capabilities for RFI’s, RFQ’s, and RFP’s.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a telecom Solutions Engineer role or a similar position.

• Strong grasp of VoIP and data networking protocols (SIP, RTP, HTTP/S, SNMP, BGP, OSPF, QoS).

• Experience with SDWAN and SASE design principles.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead projects effectively.

• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Reside on the East Coast of the US and be willing to travel up to 25% annually.
