Solutions Controls Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Drive the expansion of controls capabilities across Indiana and Kentucky.

• Guide supportive resources and personnel to fulfill or surpass district requirements.

• Understand district controls needs and recommend supplementary resources.

• Relay available resources and advancements to the district and region.

• Offer resources and assistance to tackle growth obstacles at district service offices.

• Provide direct development of control projects and sales support to sales representatives.

• Create cost estimates and pricing proposals for new projects.

• Oversee cost estimates for ongoing projects.

• Collaborate with project management and operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Guide and mentor Controls Project Developers.

• Direct engineering team members in the development of products and solutions.

• Interact with regional and district colleagues to ensure consistent customer deliverables.

• Mentor and coach engineering team members.

• Manage relationships with vendors, product availability, and district pricing.

• Identify and negotiate with additional vendors.

• Recognize and communicate opportunities for internal and external professional development courses.

• Advocate for continuous improvement among Controls personnel.

• Carry out other related duties as assigned or requested.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

• 6–8+ years of experience in commercial/industrial HVAC and Controls.

• Experience with Niagara is advantageous.

• At least 4 years of experience in people management.

• In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems.

• Familiarity with building automation protocols such as BACnet and Modbus.
