This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Facilitate discussions centered around how clients determine job pricing, evaluate roles, maintain internal equity, and adapt to market changes.
• Identify data quality problems, coverage deficiencies, and confidence issues within current compensation methodologies.
• Counsel clients on suitable data sets and market pricing tactics, taking into account role scope, location, industry, and organizational maturity.
• Clearly and credibly articulate the methodology behind compensation data, including sources, sample sizes, aging, classifications, and reliability.
• Assist clients in understanding market ranges, percentiles, and trends to align with their desired compensation frameworks.
• Analyze and contextualize various compensation data methods (including Payscale’s data, third-party surveys, blended sources, and modeled data).
• Convert compensation data into compelling narratives that resonate with HR, Finance, and executive teams.
• Connect market insights to business results related to attraction, retention, pay equity, and cost management.
• Guide clients in transitioning from reactive pricing to more proactive, data-driven compensation strategies.
• Collaborate with Account Managers, Account Executives, and our customer-facing teams to support the data aspects of deal strategies, technical validation, and executive discussions.
• Customize discussions according to customer maturity—from basic benchmarking to sophisticated market strategies.
• Assist in customer evaluation processes by providing clear and defensible data positioning.
• 4–7+ years of experience in compensation, compensation consulting, survey analytics, or data-driven advisory roles.
• Profound knowledge of compensation benchmarking, job pricing, and the interpretation of market data.
• Exceptional ability to convey data concepts to non-technical audiences without oversimplifying the information.
• Comfortable engaging with senior HR, Total Rewards, and Finance leaders.
• Proven experience in influencing decisions through insights and establishing credibility.
• Background in compensation surveys, consulting firms, or labor market analytics (Preferred).
• Familiarity with statistical concepts related to market data (percentiles, distributions, aging) (Preferred).
• Experience in supporting enterprise-level compensation programs (Preferred).
• Previous exposure to pre-sales or customer-facing advisory roles (Preferred).
