Solutions Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Korea.

📋 Description

• Serve as a technical authority on all facets of Snowflake.

• Implement Snowflake following industry best practices, ensuring effective knowledge transfer so that clients can independently enhance their use of Snowflake.

• Engage directly with customers to showcase and explain implementation best practices related to Snowflake technology.

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors, positioning Snowflake effectively in comparison.

• Collaborate with System Integrator consultants at a profound technical level to successfully position and deploy Snowflake in client environments.

• Offer insights on resolving specific technical challenges faced by customers.

• Assist fellow members of the Service Delivery team in enhancing their technical expertise.

• Work alongside Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to continually enhance Snowflake’s products and promotional strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in a pre-sales or post-sales technical capacity with customers.

• A university degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields, or equivalent professional experience.

• Exceptional presentation skills to engage both technical and executive audiences, whether spontaneously on a whiteboard or through formal presentations and demonstrations.

• Comprehensive understanding of the entire data analytics stack and workflow, from ETL processes to data platform design and BI analytics tools.

• Extensive hands-on experience with SQL and SQL analytics.

• Deep knowledge of large-scale database technologies (e.g., Netezza, Exadata, Teradata, Greenplum, etc.).

• Development experience in C/C++, Java, or scripting languages like Python or Ruby.

• Willingness and flexibility to travel for on-site customer engagements, potentially up to 75% of the time.

• Fluency in Korean and business-level proficiency in English are mandatory.
