This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide technical guidance and coordination for a team of Solutions Architects and Solutions Estimators within the GCDC vertical.
• Lead the team in crafting system designs, solutions, estimates, and proposal strategies for large-scale enterprise and data center projects.
• Maintain consistency and quality across solution designs, scopes of work, and estimates generated by the team.
• Act as a senior technical resource and escalation point for intricate projects, specialized environments, and regulated installations.
• Collaborate with sales and vertical leadership to synchronize solution strategies with customer needs and business objectives.
• Mentor and support Solutions Architects and Estimators, providing technical leadership and strategic assistance across complex opportunities.
• Manage workload and priorities within the team to facilitate high-value opportunities and strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with customers and sales teams to develop solutions, designs, scopes of work, and specifications for large-scale and highly complex projects.
• Engage in pre-bid meetings and technical discussions to thoroughly evaluate project needs and unique requirements.
• Lead the creation of detailed and comprehensive cost estimates for large, multi-site or international, complex security projects, which may encompass data centers, global enterprises, and regulated environments (e.g., UL2050, defense, and government).
• Work closely with sales, engineering, procurement, and operations to ensure estimates align with project scope, technical specifications, and timelines.
• Collaborate with Partners to identify the latest and most effective technologies to incorporate into solutions and designs.
• Source and manage pricing from specialized vendors, subcontractors, and partners to guarantee adherence to project standards and regulations.
• Identify project risks, special handling requirements, and potential solutions to meet regulatory and customer expectations.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations to elucidate project scope and value proposition.
• Collaborate with installation teams to confirm the feasibility and accuracy of estimates.
• Leverage industry knowledge regarding regulations and compliance requirements.
• Monitor project costs, potential risks, and margins to optimize pricing strategies.
• Ensure estimates are in line with company pricing strategies and market competitiveness.
• Prepare and present precise proposals to both internal and external customers.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.
• 7-9 years of experience in design consulting, system design, system commissioning, estimating, project management, and/or installation for complex and large-scale electronic physical security projects.
• Proficiency in access control, CCTV, and physical security systems, particularly for large-scale enterprise, multi-site, and complex projects.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements in specialized environments.
• Expertise in advanced estimating tools, Microsoft Office, and project collaboration software.
• Outstanding problem-solving, analytical, and organizational capabilities.
• Ability to juggle multiple high-priority projects and deliver results under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
