Solutions Architect, Networking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Design and propose comprehensive technical solutions to clients, encompassing hardware, software, licensing, and professional services.

• Gather both business and technical requirements from stakeholders.

• Execute full lifecycle network designs from inception to completion.

• Facilitate discussions using whiteboard techniques.

• Create presentations aimed at customers.

• Conduct technical presentations and product demos effectively.

• Produce hardware configurations (Bill of Materials).

• Draft statements of work (SoW) and establish pricing for professional services using Presidio tools.

• Foster relationships with Account Executives and Extended Sales Teams.

• Continuously enhance and maintain technical skills and certifications specific to the industry.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, including military service.

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience, showcasing a high level of expertise in enterprise-grade network and security solutions.

• Advanced knowledge and practical experience in the design, implementation, and support of one or more of the following: complex routing and switching solutions (Cisco and HPE), next-generation firewalls/VPNs (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, etc.), SSE and SASE technologies, and network access control.

• Familiarity with IDS/IPS solutions and data center switching/segmentation solutions, such as Cisco ACI.

• Experience with SD-WAN solutions, including Cisco/Meraki, Mist, or Aruba Wireless.

• Previous experience as a consultant or network architect is preferred.

• Possession of one or more certifications such as CCDP, CCNP, CCIE, or other relevant non-Cisco certifications is highly desirable.
