This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Spearhead post-sales technical implementation discussions with merchants, engaging in comprehensive technical discovery to grasp their systems, integration architecture, and limitations β translating insights into a clear action plan.
β’ Take charge of the technical onboarding process, acting as the main technical liaison from project kickoff to go-live, collaborating with internal Engineering and Product teams to identify product gaps and ensure integrations are established for long-term success.
β’ Develop and maintain technical documentation for merchant onboardings β including system architecture diagrams, API inventories, and integration specifications β that cross-functional partners depend on throughout the merchant lifecycle.
β’ Create and sustain a repository of reusable integration resources β templates, configuration guides, and onboarding playbooks β that enhance consistency and decrease time-to-live across the merchant portfolio on the Solutions team.
β’ Lead the investigation and resolution of intricate post-onboarding technical challenges, partnering with Engineering and Support to facilitate root cause analysis and effectively communicate findings to both internal and external stakeholders.
β’ Oversee pre-launch quality assurance β encompassing sandbox testing and comprehensive validation of integration flows β to ensure that integrations fulfill a high technical standard before going live.
β’ Identify and advocate for AI and automation opportunities that enhance operational efficiency, collaborating with internal teams to progress initiatives from concept to execution.
β’ 4-7 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role, such as Solutions Architect, Implementation Specialist, Technical Consultant, or a similar client-facing position.
β’ Proven history of independently guiding clients or stakeholders through complex technical implementations or integrations, from scoping to go-live.
β’ Outstanding ability to convey complex technical concepts, architectures, and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences β including executive stakeholders.
β’ Extensive hands-on experience working with Mid-Market and Enterprise merchants, with the capability to manage competing priorities across multiple accounts simultaneously.
β’ Strong knowledge of web technologies and integrations, including hands-on experience designing and troubleshooting RESTful API integrations, along with a solid understanding of how JavaScript, HTML, and CSS interact within a production environment.
β’ Practical experience with common integration patterns (APIs, file-based, event-driven, webhooks, etc.) and the ability to recommend appropriate approaches for specific use cases.
β’ A proactive, ownership-oriented mindset β you identify issues before they escalate, drive solutions from start to finish, and advocate for both the client and the business when trade-offs are necessary.
