This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Drive technical implementations and promote the use of Chainguard images, assisting customers in securely utilizing open source software throughout their organization.
• Collaborate with the account team (AEs, SEs, CSMs, and Support) to grasp customer vision, challenges, and suggested solutions to foster account-level strategies, realization of value, and retention/growth.
• Ensure the highest quality of Chainguard Images by acting as “customer zero,” testing, documenting, and facilitating a seamless customer onboarding experience.
• Work alongside our Product and Engineering teams to communicate customer requirements and establish the appropriate prioritization for image builds.
• Maintain the suitable architecture at the account level and disseminate best practices and lessons learned throughout the organization.
• Be a collaborative team member - engage, educate, and learn from the Chainguard team.
• Over 4 years of experience in developing high-performance multi-tier applications, with strong expertise in Kubernetes and Containers.
• More than 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role in pre or post sales.
• Capability to convey technical information in both highly technical and non-technical formats depending on the audience, which includes a range of personas from engineers to executives.
• A continuous learner with a strong intellectual drive for excellence and a desire to create solutions for complex issues.
• At least a Bachelor’s Degree focusing on Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.
• Solid working experience with software development processes, practices, and software engineering design concepts.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering teams and business partners.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.
