This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +30 more states.
• Oversee the creation of technical solutions for federal, state, and local RFPs, RFQs, and white papers.
• Collaborate closely with Client Solutions Managers, Proposal Managers, Writers, and Subject Matter Experts to develop solutions that address customer challenges, mission requirements, and contract specifications.
• Design secure, scalable, and cost-efficient solutions that incorporate Nava’s capabilities.
• Ensure all solutions meet government security, accessibility, and interoperability standards (FedRAMP, FISMA, Section 508).
• Balance compliance, feasibility, and innovation to devise successful technical strategies.
• Write and enhance technical sections for proposals, including solution narratives, architecture diagrams, staffing strategies, and cost justifications.
• Create technical white papers, concept papers, and capability statements to support capture initiatives.
• Utilize AI/LLMs and automation tools to optimize technical writing while maintaining quality and compliance.
• Engage in color team reviews to refine solution strategies and strengthen proposal submissions.
• In partnership with Technical Writer(s), maintain a repository of reusable technical content to enhance future proposal efficiency.
• Work alongside business development and delivery teams to shape Nava’s go-to-market strategy and identify emerging technical requirements in the government IT sector.
• When suitable, connect with government clients, partners, and subcontractors to ensure solutions align with contract goals and collaboration arrangements.
• Represent Nava’s technical capabilities in pre-solicitation activities, industry days, and client engagements.
• Assist with oral presentations and solution demonstrations for competitive bids.
• Keep informed about emerging technologies, AI advancements, cybersecurity best practices, and government IT trends.
• Assess new tools and methodologies to improve solution efficiency, compliance, and innovation.
• Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing efforts and help enhance Nava’s technical solutioning playbook.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Over 6 years of experience in IT architecture, digital services, or technical solutioning, including at least 3 years supporting proposals or capture efforts for government contracts (federal, state, or local).
• Profound understanding of government procurement processes, including federal/state/local RFPs, RFQs, and contract vehicles (GSA, IDIQs, BPAs).
• Excellent technical writing abilities, with experience in developing proposal content that translates intricate IT concepts into engaging, compliant narratives.
• Familiarity with FedRAMP, FISMA, Section 508, and other government security and compliance frameworks.
• Capability to balance compliance, feasibility, and innovation in solution design.
• Experience interacting with government stakeholders, proposal teams, and partners/subcontractors to refine technical solutions.
