Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Serve as a Trusted Advisor by engaging with the technical architects and business stakeholders of our customers to deliver high-quality technical solutions and product training that foster successful customer outcomes.

• Connect business processes with technical solutions offered by the product.

• Implement delivery methodologies to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.

• Address critical customer implementation challenges and showcase the ability to achieve successful resolutions.

• Design prototypes and catalog new solutions that address business pain points.

• Provide consultation on architecture, indexing, searching, and best practices for user interface design.

• Enhance relationships and increase product usage within the enterprise segment.

• Participate in customer calls and on-site visits to help inform and align on product roadmaps for future partnership development.

• Assist in creating detailed action plans, roadmaps, prototypes, final recommendation documents, Success Management Action Plans, and retrospectives.

• Collaborate with the Success Management and Engagement Manager, as well as other internal roles, to comprehend project objectives and deliverables.

• Develop and enhance the reusability of solution content (such as blog posts and workshop tutorials), tools, and internal projects.

• Create tools and/or collateral to facilitate customer engagement scaling.

• Inform and gradually evolve the product ecosystem by listening to and advocating for customers' technical needs.

• Collaborate with Engineering to monitor and resolve feature requests and bugs.

• Engage with the Product team to stay updated on the latest changes in the Algolia ecosystem and communicate these updates internally and to customers as appropriate.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in a customer-focused, deeply technical, and consultative role.

• Experience working with eCommerce or search technologies.

• Strong consulting skills.

• Awareness of sensitive topics related to clients.

• Ability to tactfully navigate and effectively address client communications and recommendations.

• Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for front-end development.

• Skilled in a backend framework (e.g., Node, Rails, Django, etc.).

• Capability to establish credibility and rapport with Senior Executives as well as technical and non-technical team members.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a proven track record of managing projects of varying sizes.

• Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

• Skill in quickly identifying dependencies, issues, and outlining mitigation strategies against potential risks.

• Capacity to work under tight deadlines while remaining flexible and responsive to shifting business and technical circumstances.

• Effective communication skills with both technology and business communities.

• Consistent history of successful business-building initiatives and a strong passion for achieving results.
