Solution Consultant – Public Housing PIC Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Oversee a portfolio of public housing agencies utilizing MRI PIC Management services.

• Examine, analyze, and submit HUD PIC records on behalf of designated clients.

• Identify, investigate, and rectify errors that hinder successful PIC submissions.

• Track PIC submission rates and assist clients in achieving and sustaining compliance objectives.

• Analyze HUD reports, error dashboards, delinquency reports, and submission exceptions to determine necessary corrective actions.

• Provide agencies with information on unresolved errors, overdue reports, and strategies for resolution.

• Conduct regular meetings, presentations, and status updates with clients.

• Aid agencies with SEMAP-related PIC indicators and year-end fiscal preparations.

• Collaborate with agency personnel and HUD field offices regarding PIC access, authorization, and compliance issues.

• Assist clients in navigating regulatory and operational changes affecting HUD reporting obligations.

• Document client interactions, maintain tracking mechanisms, and deliver precise project and service updates.

• Work with internal teams to exchange knowledge, enhance processes, and improve service delivery.

• Foster strong client relationships through proactive communication and diligent support.

• Engage in internal training, mentorship, and continuous improvement efforts.

• Compile and present agency performance metrics, submission statuses, compliance findings, and recommendations to client stakeholders.

• Execute additional duties as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

• At least 3 years of experience in public housing, HUD compliance, software consulting or support, housing authority operations, PIC submissions, or related client services roles.

• Strong knowledge of HUD Public Housing and/or Housing Choice Voucher programs.

• Experience in analyzing compliance data, HUD reporting requirements, occupancy functions, certifications, inspections, SEMAP, PIC submissions, or similar compliance activities.

• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities.

• Strong presentation and facilitation skills, both virtually and in-person.

• Proven capacity to manage multiple priorities and client relationships concurrently.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team atmosphere.

• Strong customer service orientation with a dedication to client success.

• Direct experience with HUD PIC submissions is preferred.

• Experience with a Public Housing Authority or housing software provider is preferred.

• Familiarity with MRI PHA Pro, QuicPIC, HAB, Tenmast, or other housing management platforms is preferred.

• Experience supporting agencies during SEMAP reporting or housing authority compliance tasks is preferred.

• Knowledge of HUD 50058 processing and HUD compliance standards is preferred.

• Experience in delivering training, client presentations, or consulting services is preferred.

• Understanding of data analysis, reporting, or troubleshooting within public housing software systems is preferred.

• Familiarity with HUD security, authorization, and MFA requirements is preferred.
