This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Evaluate electrical and mechanical system designs and installations to verify compliance with NEC, local jurisdiction requirements, OEM specifications, and company QA/QC standards.
• Review technical documents and installation images to ensure projects adhere to incentive program guidelines and compliance standards.
• Conduct routine and focused quality audits on residential solar installations to confirm alignment with design specifications, code standards, and company policies.
• Ensure prompt review and completion of assigned project tasks in line with established service level agreements (SLAs).
• Detect quality issues and work collaboratively with internal teams to address them effectively.
• Perform root cause analysis and suggest corrective measures to prevent future occurrences.
• Assist the QA/QC Manager in meeting departmental objectives, including SLA compliance, review process enhancement, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Stay informed about industry standards and best practices related to residential solar.
• 1-2 years of experience in QA/QC, construction, or similar technical roles; solar experience is a plus (internships or field experience are acceptable).
• Capability to interpret technical drawings, system designs, and performance metrics to identify potential problems.
• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication skills with the capacity to collaborate across internal teams and with external partners.
• Detail-oriented and highly motivated, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a remote setting.
• Knowledge of industry standards and codes such as UL, IBC, and NEC.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook).
