This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.
• Act as the regional technical authority and field leader.
• Supervise regional operational excellence and manage intricate preventative and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Handle state electrical permitting and serve as the regional authority for safety approvals.
• Collaborate directly with management and third-party vendors to enhance regional performance.
• Train and guide the upcoming generation of field technicians.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant State Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ), electrical codes, safety regulations, and stringent company standards.
• Offer analytical feedback and practical recommendations for initiatives aimed at regional improvements.
• Create detailed corrective action plans to diagnose and repair complex electrical issues.
• A valid Master Electrician license is mandatory.
• Must possess a valid New Mexico CID Journeyman Electrician certificate, EE-98J classification.
• At least 5 years of specialized experience in solar PV installation, operations, and maintenance is required.
• Comprehensive knowledge of electrical theory, principles, and commercial/utility-scale solar configurations at a master level.
• Highly skilled in utilizing specialized electrical testing equipment and advanced diagnostic tools.
• Demonstrated ability to safely and autonomously operate in 34,500VAC and 1500VDC environments.
• Exceptional troubleshooting, analytical, and technical root-cause problem-solving abilities.
• Advanced skills in reading, interpreting, and marking up complex electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
• Up to an 8% performance bonus awarded annually.
