This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.
• Develop and Automate Testing: Create, implement, and maintain automated testing scripts and frameworks (mainly using Python) to ensure the correct functionality of our software offerings.
• End-to-End Feature Ownership: Thoroughly analyze feature sets, taking charge from test planning to final implementation and complete automation.
• System & Integration Validation: Assess software functionality and performance through system-level and integration testing, using Linux-based environments and virtualization tools.
• Test Environment Management: Establish, maintain, and enhance test environments utilizing Linux, Docker, virtual machines, and other contemporary tools.
• Collaboration & Communication: Partner closely with software, DevOps, architecture, and product teams to outline test requirements, coordinate releases, and ensure the delivery of high-quality products.
• Continuous Improvement: Lead design verification processes, contribute to methodology enhancements, and utilize planning/tracking systems to oversee release progress and develop release indicators.
• Defect Analysis: Evaluate test results, report defects, and monitor issues until resolution, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or computer engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 3 years of experience in software testing, QA automation, or software engineering.
• Strong command of Python and scripting for automation purposes.
• Significant experience with Linux-based environments, including system tools and command-line utilities.
• Established understanding of computer networking and modern Linux operating systems.
• Familiarity with software testing, integration, and system validation methodologies.
• Exceptional problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication abilities.
• Capable of working independently, managing multiple priorities, and driving technical projects.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, adaptability, and a strong determination for success.
• Proficient in English; strong presentation and public speaking skills.
