Software Support Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve issues from an assigned task/bug list.

• Evaluate features prototyped in staging, finalize them, and verify their readiness for production.

• Deploy completed features to production; separate unfinished work using feature branches/flags.

• Ensure the reliability of existing functionalities and prevent regressions.

• Conduct backend maintenance of AI applications, including tools for agent orchestration.

• Collaborate closely with the founder on a daily basis.

• Maintain visibility, exhibit proactivity, and ensure consistent productivity throughout the workday.

• Assist in the ongoing development and maintenance of an internal platform utilized by the team and clients.

• Oversee bugs, feature requests, and AI-assisted engineering workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong background in full-stack engineering encompassing both frontend and backend.

• Practical experience with AI/ML systems and agent-based tools, such as Claude, Codex, Grok, or similar LLM orchestration.

• Proficient in maintaining and debugging backend systems in production.

• Familiar with feature branching/flags and safe release methodologies.

• Excellent communication skills in English — clear, responsive, and capable of collaborating closely with a hands-on technical founder.

• High reliability, visibility, and consistent daily performance.

• Preference for time zone overlap with Austin, Texas.

• Previous experience in small, founder-led teams is a plus.

• Strong hands-on experience with AI agent workflows and prompt engineering is a plus.

• Ability to work independently while remaining highly responsive and visible is a plus.
