Software Quality Assurance Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.

📋 Description

• Monitors and comprehends the testing processes and responsibilities of Insider One.

• Engages in both manual and automated test script development.

• Documents the outcomes of tests (both success and failure).

• Logs any new issues that emerge during the testing phase.

• Provides suggestions regarding new issues encountered during tests.

• Conducts retests as necessary.

• Participates in User Acceptance Testing, documenting issues and test outcomes.

• Ensures timely resolution of identified problems.

• Prepares the required software and hardware for the testing environment.

• Anticipates and forecasts testing processes.

• Establishes testing strategies.

• Collaborates with business owners to develop and execute test plans.

• Manages essential Quality Control systems.

• Contributes to the development of products, systems, and processes.

• Generates solutions to various problems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess experience in software development and testing of complex products.

• Familiar with software testing processes and methodologies such as ISEB / ISTQB / TMAP.

• Knowledgeable about software tools utilized in functional test automation, including Selenium (and potentially Appium, Locust, & Jenkins).

• Proficient in Python and Java.

• Have a solid understanding of Jira.

• Possess a level of English proficiency that allows for effective analysis of technical documents.

• Exhibit openness, professionalism, and diplomacy in communication.

• Demonstrate agility, adaptability to constant changes, and enjoyment in performing these tasks.

• Capable of prioritizing work, adjusting to sudden plan changes, and recognizing when to adhere to the original plan.
