Software Quality Assurance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.

📋 Description

• Oversee software to ensure alignment with business requirements and expected functionality.

• Facilitate efficient testing processes and collaborate closely with developers to identify bugs.

• Develop and implement test strategies/plans, as well as create and execute test scripts.

• Actively carry out thorough system integration test cases.

• Establish traceability from requirements to test cases and engage in the defect resolution lifecycle.

• Accurately document results, assess severity levels, log issues, and conduct retests on discrepancies.

• Diagnose software problems within the client environment.

• Support the development team in creating unit tests and managing development tasks using Azure DevOps.

• Perform quality assurance on new code and verify functionality alongside developers.

• Continuously enhance the efficiency of QA, release, deployment, and monitoring processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as computer science or computer engineering, with a minimum of 4 years of study.

• Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.

• 3-6 years of experience in a Quality Assurance position, providing software support to clients.

• Familiarity with one or more automated testing tools.

• Experience working within Agile/SCRUM teams.

• Proficient in using bug-tracking tools.

• Strong expertise in SQL queries.

• Solid knowledge of C# for unit testing purposes.

• Experience with Azure DevOps is a plus.
