Software Quality Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop functional test scenarios and scripts based on insights gained from handover meetings and an understanding of requirements with technical leadership.

• Conduct manual testing, which includes database manipulation to create test data sets and validate data integrity.

• Record and monitor defects in Azure DevOps, providing clear descriptions of reproduction steps, expected outcomes, and actual results.

• Perform user interface testing, assessing functional behavior, usability, responsiveness, and compatibility across different browsers.

• Carry out basic REST API testing, validating response statuses, payloads, and simple business rules.

• Assist in reviewing requirements and acceptance criteria to ensure sufficient test coverage.

• Revise and maintain test cases as system features change and develop.

• Work collaboratively with developers and other QA professionals to comprehend deliverables and confirm accurate implementations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed Bachelor's degree.

• Experience in functional testing of web applications.

• Familiarity with agile environments.

• Knowledge of software testing principles, including functional, integration, and regression testing.

• Understanding of the software development lifecycle.

• Practical knowledge of web applications, covering both front-end and back-end aspects.

• Basic understanding of Java to comprehend rules and identify defects.

• Experience in testing APIs using Postman.

• Proficient with defect tracking tools, particularly Azure DevOps.

• Familiarity with version control systems, specifically Git.

• Knowledge of Cypress for testing purposes.

• Understanding of SQL databases.
