This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Take ownership of the Testing Lifecycle by designing, developing, and executing thorough test plans and cases for new features, enhancements, and bug fixes across our web and mobile platforms.
• Engage in Strategic Planning by partnering with the Delivery Manager and product teams to assess capacity and risks, ensuring timely and high-quality releases.
• Conduct Hands-On Testing through comprehensive manual testing, which includes functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT), to ensure our software meets the established acceptance criteria and quality standards.
• Champion Quality Improvement by proactively identifying, documenting, and tracking defects within our bug tracking system (e.g., Jira). Perform root cause analysis and collaborate with developers to implement permanent solutions.
• Focus on Enhancing QA Processes by continuously refining and improving our testing methodologies and tools to boost efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide Mentorship and Leadership by guiding junior QA team members, sharing your knowledge, and promoting best practices in software testing.
• Actively Collaborate by working within an agile, cross-functional team and participating in ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to advocate for testability and quality throughout the development cycle.
• Stay Current by keeping up with the latest trends and best practices in software quality assurance.
• Proven Experience: A minimum of 5 years in a software quality assurance or testing role.
• Testing Expertise: In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC), coupled with strong abilities in creating test plans, test cases, and test strategies.
• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira) and test case management software (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr).
• Experience in testing APIs using tools like Postman or similar.
• Familiarity with testing on various browsers and mobile devices.
• Analytical Mindset: Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail and a logical approach to troubleshooting.
• Exceptional Communicator: Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to clearly convey complex issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Team Player: A collaborative mindset with a proven history of effective work in agile, cross-functional teams.
