Software Expert I – Accounts Digital, AI Transformation & Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain high-quality software solutions that contribute to the digital transformation of BBVA Colombia.

• Ensure adherence to development standards, technical excellence, and timely delivery of solutions aligned with business needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.

• A minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in software development.

• At least 2 years working as a Senior Backend Developer or in an equivalent role.

• Software development experience using Java and Cobol.

• Development of backend applications and design of services.

• Full software development life cycle (SDLC) experience.

• Code review and application of best development practices.

• Experience with relational and non-relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, Cassandra).

• Familiarity with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

• Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).

• Version control management using Git.

• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation.

• Collaborative work with architecture, functional analysis, and quality assurance (QA) teams.
