This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Primarily focused on software development in Python, with possibilities to work in JavaScript and/or C++ on Windows based on expertise.

• Maintenance and enhancement of our software framework for the control and data processing of machine vision systems.

• Development of robotic applications for multi-sensor systems.

• Testing, quality assurance, and documentation of software components.

• Integration of additional hardware components into our framework (actuators, cameras, and other sensors).

• Design and development of custom extensions for our standard software tailored to specific customer needs.

• Independent execution of software development projects and taking on (partial) project management responsibilities while maintaining collaborative communication with clients worldwide.

⛳️ Requirements

• A strong academic background (Computer Science, Physics, or a related field).

• Experience in software development using Python.

• Background in user interface design (preferably with Qt/QML and/or web technologies such as Vue.js/Bootstrap), as well as hardware control in C++ or GPGPU is advantageous.

• Familiarity with image processing, sensor development, or robotic applications is a plus.

• Proficient in using Git/GitLab, JupyterLab, PyCharm, and/or Docker is beneficial.

• Ability to work independently and responsibly, along with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Excellent proficiency in both German and English.
