This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Collaborate with agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions utilizing a comprehensive stack of development tools and technologies.
• Engage with data scientists, engineers (both Front-end and Back-end), project managers, and designers to identify innovative technical solutions that address specific client and project requirements, integrating various technologies like remote sensing, machine learning, image processing, or statistical computing into public APIs.
• Ensure software quality, robustness, and adherence to standards by conducting code reviews, documentation, and creating automated testing procedures.
• Prototype solutions using cutting-edge technologies to expand the limits of capacity, speed, and functionality.
• Continuously learn and experiment with new technologies to comprehend how evolving trends impact our field and apply these insights to our projects.
• Hands-on proficiency in a diverse range of technologies, typically encompassing front-end user interfaces, back-end systems, and all intermediary points.
• Experience with Javascript, NodeJS, Ruby, Rails, and Python.
• Familiarity with graph knowledge, GIS, and databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Background in cloud-based server solutions like AWS or GCP.
• Understanding of professional software engineering practices throughout the entire software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and deployments.
• Exceptional teamwork and collaboration abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Enthusiastic about learning and sharing new technologies with the team.
• Interest in addressing environmental and social challenges.
