Software Engineer – Senior/Staff Level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Convert product visions or operational requirements into comprehensive software architectures and implement them throughout the entire stack to guarantee an outstanding user experience.

• Tackle complex technical challenges, often in new and undefined domains, utilizing innovative methods to craft practical solutions.

• Manage projects from inception to deployment, collaborating with Product and Data teams to assess their impact.

• Establish technical direction, take ownership of architectural decisions on intricate systems, mentor engineers within the team, and facilitate critical technical discussions to reach resolutions.

• Collaborate closely with the Product and Operations teams to ensure that technical initiatives align with company objectives.

• Continuously assess and enhance team processes and tools to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a software engineer, including responsibility for complex, ambitious projects from start to finish.

• Significant experience or growth within a top-tier company or project.

• A strong entrepreneurial spirit or background in open-source projects.

• Experience speaking at conferences, organizing meetups, or contributing to technology communities.

• Focus on impact and view technology as a tool to deliver real value to users.

• Not confined to a specific layer or programming language, and passionate about solving problems end-to-end.

• Quick to learn new technologies, frameworks, or practices, and comfortable in dynamic environments.

• Possess strong analytical abilities and enjoy addressing complex challenges with a creative yet practical mindset.

• Capable of explaining intricate concepts clearly, structuring thoughts effectively, and actively listening.

• Humble, receptive to feedback, and enthusiastic about helping others grow alongside your own development.

• Proactive, accountable, and committed to excellence in every endeavor.

• Proficient in English, both written and verbal. French is not required.
