Software Engineer – R, Python, Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece.

📋 Description

• Engaging in the design and execution of sophisticated web-based applications;

• Crafting, developing, testing, and sustaining large-scale applications;

• Ensuring effective collaboration within the team;

• Complying with software quality standards;

• Creating technical documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

• Passion for programming along with proficiency in Java, Python, and R.

• Quality-focused and team-oriented.

• Proficient in English.

• Desired experience with Java, Python, R, web services (REST or SOAP), Spring Boot, micro-services, object-relational mapping (e.g. Hibernate), XML, and/or databases (e.g. SQL).

• Familiarity with Geographical Information Systems (GIS).

• Proficiency in German.
