Software Engineer, Python, JavaScript

📋 Description

• This position is fully remote.

• We are looking to hire two software engineers to assist in the development, maintenance, and promotion of our self-hosted n8n platform.

• The contractors will be responsible for creating and maintaining workflow automations, developing custom integrations and nodes, troubleshooting production issues, enhancing platform reliability, and working with internal stakeholders to provide automation solutions.

• Design, develop, test, and uphold n8n workflows and automations.

• Create custom n8n nodes, integrations, and supporting services as required.

• Analyze and rectify workflow failures, platform issues, and integration challenges.

• Work collaboratively with platform engineers and business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions.

• Contribute to operational excellence through monitoring, debugging, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Facilitate the adoption of n8n by assisting in onboarding new use cases and users.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in developing modern web applications with knowledge of both frontend and backend technologies.

• Strong expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript, as these will be the primary technologies utilized in this role.

• Proficiency in Python.

• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, including experience in designing, developing, and integrating APIs and distributed systems.

• Candidates with a robust background in backend and integration engineering, along with some frontend development experience, will also be taken into account.
