This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Enhance and maintain internal synthetic data generation tools.
• Assist quality and development teams with their test data generation needs.
• Acquire knowledge and improve the in-house test data generation tool.
• Create solutions with a focus on artificial intelligence.
• Design, develop, and execute performance testing scenarios.
• Analyze and resolve performance bottlenecks in applications, infrastructure, and databases.
• Incorporate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, DevOps, and SRE teams to address performance challenges.
• Implement AI/ML techniques within performance testing processes.
• Embed observability tools into performance analysis and associated workflows.
• Conduct load, stress, spike, endurance/soak, volume, and scalability tests.
• Generate performance reports and establish reporting frameworks.
• Offer recommendations for optimization.
• Validate and enhance the scalability and reliability of enterprise applications and cloud-native systems.
• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3–8 years of experience in Software Development and Performance Testing/Performance Engineering.
• Prior experience with Python for backend application development.
• Basic familiarity with JavaScript for frontend web development.
• Proficient in SQL, database design principles, and database technologies.
• Skilled in writing and optimizing SQL queries and evaluating database performance.
• Experienced with AI tools such as Claude and Copilot while delivering quality solutions.
• Knowledgeable in Performance Engineering concepts.
• Hands-on experience with performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, k6, Locust, NeoLoad, or BlazeMeter.
• Familiar with application monitoring tools such as Datadog, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, New Relic, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, AWS CloudWatch, or Google Cloud Monitoring.
• Experienced in analyzing logs, metrics, traces, dashboards, and alerts for root cause analysis.
• Background in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Good understanding of Java for troubleshooting performance issues.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Ruby/Rails.
• Solid understanding of AWS and GCP.
• Understanding of Git repositories and GitLab Pipelines.
• Experience working in CI/CD environments.
• Knowledge of APIs, microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication abilities.
• Capability to work across multiple time zones in a hybrid or remote setting.
• May be required to undergo a pre-employment criminal background check.
• Annual base salary in the US ranging from $123,000 to $132,000.
• Option for remote work.
