This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Serves as the main technical authority during the 3rd shift for one or more Tier-1 / regulated production applications related to check capture, core posting, and both inbound and outbound exceptions processing.
• Directs real-time incident triage and recovery for Sev-1 to Sev-3 issues, encompassing application, batch, and infrastructure-related failures.
• Develops and oversees the technical design and implementation of software solutions.
• Proposes and crafts software solutions to meet intricate business requirements.
• Produces necessary technical and procedural documentation.
• Facilitates the resolution of complex problems.
• Offers technical advice and support to team members.
• Evaluates coding, testing, and documentation of software.
• Utilizes contemporary principles, methodologies, and tools to enhance business initiatives and capabilities.
• Over 3 years of pertinent and direct industry experience.
• Strong background in technical engineering.
• Practical experience as a senior software engineer or engineering lead in production settings (Java, .NET, mainframe, and/or distributed stack based on the platform).
• Demonstrated capability in performing: Defect analysis and root cause identification, log analysis, job restart logic, configuration adjustments, post-incident validation, and environment health assessments.
• Willingness to be “the owner when things break” during off-hours.
• Ability to communicate incidents clearly and concisely with support partners, infrastructure teams, and day-shift leadership.
• Guides and assists overnight engineers (SRC, offshore, or hybrid).
• Bachelor’s degree required.
