Software Engineer, Kernel, BIOS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Assess new CPUs and collaborate with CPU/BIOS vendors to incorporate their stacks into EOS.

• Accountable for the bring-up and qualification of hardware components.

• Address all facets of software development, including the introduction of new features, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing code for scalability and performance.

• Manage projects from initial definition through deployment and customer engagement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.

• Over 5 years of experience with C or C++ and Python.

• Practical experience with Linux Kernel software is a plus.

• Familiarity with IP networking and/or distributed systems is advantageous.

• Applied knowledge of software engineering principles.

• Excellent problem-solving and software troubleshooting abilities.

• Capability to design and successfully implement a solution.
