Software Engineer, Java, Angular, Kafka

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Morocco.

📋 Description

• Design, create, and maintain backend applications using Java (Spring Boot) as well as frontend applications in Angular.

• Develop robust, secure, and high-performance REST APIs.

• Engage in the design and implementation of event-driven architectures utilizing Apache Kafka.

• Ensure code quality by adhering to development best practices, Clean Code principles, conducting code reviews, and using Sonar.

• Involve yourself in analysis, technical design, and the various development phases.

• Write unit and integration tests to ensure application reliability.

• Aid in deployments and CI/CD processes.

• Participate in the implementation of microservices architectures.

• Optimize application performance, maintainability, and security.

• Collaborate effectively with DevOps, Architects, QA, and Product Owners.

• Take part in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

• Assist in creating technical documentation and providing application support.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's (Bac+4) to Master's (Bac+5) degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• At least 5 years of experience in Java development.

• Strong understanding of Java 11/17 and the Spring ecosystem (Boot, REST, Security, JPA).

• Proficient skills in Angular.

• Good knowledge of Kafka (messaging, streaming, event-driven).

• Solid expertise in relational databases (SQL / PostgreSQL).

• Familiar with Maven, Git/GitLab, and Sonar.

• Experience in developing REST APIs.

• Knowledge of microservices architecture.

• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong analytical skills, autonomy, and team spirit.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong sense of organization.
