This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and sustain integrations with cloud service providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and external security tools to identify resources, synchronize configurations, and highlight pertinent security information.
• Design and implement data pipelines that standardize and verify inputs from various APIs, addressing inconsistencies, pagination, rate limits, and changing schemas.
• Execute authentication processes including OAuth 2.0, OIDC, API keys, and service accounts across a wide array of external services.
• Ensure that integrations remain reliable, observable, and recoverable, featuring robust error handling, retry mechanisms, and alert systems for issues that arise.
• Produce clear documentation detailing integration behavior, data mappings, and troubleshooting instructions.
• Enhance engineering standards, tools, and shared practices to expedite future integration development.
• Collaborate with the broader engineering team to comprehend the data needs of downstream features and ensure that integrations consistently meet those requirements.
• Proficiency in strongly typed compiled languages such as Go, Java, C#, C++, or Rust — preference is given to Go.
• A minimum of 3 years of development experience focusing on backend APIs, integrations, or data pipelines.
• Familiarity with integrating REST APIs, interpreting API documentation, and managing real-world API challenges.
• Proficient in SQL.
• Experience in building or maintaining SaaS platform backends.
• Understanding of authentication standards like OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SAML (Bonus).
• Background in the information security sector (Bonus).
• Familiarity with cloud service provider APIs (AWS SDK, GCP client libraries, Azure SDK) (Bonus).
• Experience with integration testing and debugging tools (Bonus).
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field (Bonus).
