Software Engineer II – Model Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Utilize industry-leading AI tools to design, develop, implement, and sustain Model Serving infrastructure that underpins a premier Detection Engine.

• Lead initiatives that enhance our model serving and data processing services to accommodate 10 times the current traffic.

• Take charge of real-time and near real-time streaming pipelines, along with online feature serving services.

• Work in close collaboration with Machine Learning Engineers and Data Science teams by synthesizing feedback, aligning it with strategic goals, and executing plans.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Software Engineer or in a comparable role, with practical involvement in developing data-centric solutions.

• Expertise in utilizing AI tools to enhance engineering results, encompassing the discovery, design, implementation, and deployment of software systems.

• Experience in managing large-scale distributed systems on cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, with a solid understanding of best practices in cloud engineering.

• Knowledge of maintaining real-time and near real-time data pipelines or streaming services.

• Experience collaborating with distributed teams, demonstrating proficiency in asynchronous and written communication.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work autonomously in a dynamic environment. You can decompose complex challenges into manageable components and iterate on solutions, balancing immediate requirements with long-term scalability.

• Solid foundation in computer science, including data structures and performance optimization techniques.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applied Sciences, Information Systems, or a related engineering discipline.
