Software Engineer, iOS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hong Kong.

📋 Description

• Design and implement high-quality iOS features utilizing Swift.

• Create user-friendly mobile experiences across various domains including insurance, payments, claims, renewals, and financial services.

• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to streamline intricate user journeys.

• Integrate backend APIs while ensuring that mobile applications are stable, scalable, and reliable.

• Continuously enhance application performance, minimize crash rates, improve loading speed, responsiveness, memory usage, and battery efficiency.

• Leverage analytics, production insights, and user feedback to consistently elevate product quality.

• Develop AI-assisted mobile experiences that provide significant value to users.

• Contribute to engineering standards, conduct code reviews, and promote ongoing improvement across the mobile platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of professional experience in iOS software engineering, specifically with Swift.

• Extensive experience in building and maintaining production-level iOS applications.

• Strong grasp of SwiftUI, UIKit, async/await, and contemporary iOS architecture patterns.

• Deep understanding of software engineering principles, mobile architecture, clean code practices, and user-centered design.

• Experience with REST API integration and resolving production-related issues.

• Ability to work independently within a remote and distributed engineering team.

• Demonstrated ownership, quick execution, and a strong focus on product quality.

• GitHub profiles, App Store links, or examples of completed applications are highly encouraged.
