This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop high-quality code for medium-complexity projects while ensuring comprehensive test coverage.

• Analyze and convert product requirements into effective designs that guarantee high-quality applications which are modular, configurable, maximize reuse, and are fast, efficient, user-friendly, secure, compliant, scalable, and maintainable.

• Provide assistance with any application system support needs.

• Engage in design and code reviews of applications to uphold best practices, maintain adherence to Mercury standards, and ensure high quality.

• Mentor and offer technical guidance to fellow engineers on the team, promoting a culture of innovation and excellence within Mercury engineering.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• An equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.

• Proficient in programming with one or more industry-standard languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go, C++, JavaScript).

• Skilled in utilizing various data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.

• Familiar with relational databases, NoSQL, and caching solutions.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Effective communication skills.

• Able to work independently on straightforward tasks.

• Capability to collaborate and influence team members to resolve impediments and achieve desired outcomes.

• Preferred: Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
