Software Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Evaluate technical specifications and adhere to predefined software designs for development, debugging, documentation, and testing.

• Modify, create, and implement software programming applications.

• Provide support and maintenance for current software applications.

• Engage in the testing phase to guarantee software quality and performance.

• Conduct maintenance, feature development, quality assurance, documentation, and infrastructure or performance-related tasks across the application stack.

• Contribute to the formulation and adherence of development best practices and technical standards.

• Fulfill additional requests, projects, and tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.

• 2 to 4 years of professional experience in software development.

• Proficient in developing applications using Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Spring Boot, Angular, and jQuery.

• Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL or MariaDB.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities with the ability to take ownership and exercise sound judgment.

• Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile or Scrum methodologies.

• Experience utilizing Jira and Confluence or similar collaboration tools for development.
