Software Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design and develop highly scalable backend endpoints.

• Collect product requirements and create design documentation to meet product needs.

• Lead and manage the complete software development lifecycle: from product requirements and architecture to solution design, development, quality assurance, and maintenance.

• Provide mentorship on best practices and effectively disseminate knowledge.

• Communicate development progress efficiently to the product lead, engineering manager, and other relevant stakeholders.

• Be open to introducing innovative technologies and ideas as needed.

• Collaborate effectively within a large global team.

• Participate actively in scrum ceremonies, team gatherings, and one-on-one meetings with managers.

• Offer constructive feedback to colleagues in both written and verbal forms, and welcome technical and behavioral feedback from managers and peers.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of industry experience in backend development, with a minimum of 1-2 years in senior roles focusing on large-scale application development.

• Proven experience in developing distributed web applications.

• Your code should be clear, well-organized, and highly efficient.

• Experience with database modeling (either SQL or NoSQL is acceptable).

• Familiarity with using and designing RESTful services.

• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles.

• A BS or MS degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from IIT, IIIT, or other Tier 1 institutions.
