Software Engineer I, Backend – Servicing Platforms

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

• You will engage in tasks that advance the team's projects and objectives.

• An on-call rotation will be a requirement for this position.

⛳️ Requirements

• You possess prior work or internship experience in designing, developing, and deploying backend systems at scale and are proficient in one of Python, Kotlin, or Java.

• You are well-acquainted with the foundational elements of distributed systems and technologies such as AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.

• You excel at transforming a straightforward problem or business scenario into a solution that interacts with multiple software components and executing it by writing clear, comprehensible, well-tested, and extensible code.

• You are adept at navigating a large codebase, debugging the code of others, and providing constructive feedback through code reviews.

• Your experience reflects a commitment to owning your growth by actively seeking feedback from your team, manager, and stakeholders.

• You possess strong verbal and written communication skills that facilitate effective collaboration with our global engineering team.
